Who am I?
If I was asked what my purpose is, I would tell the truth. I don’t know. I don’t know if I have a reason to be here. I don’t know if you have a reason to be here. It’s quite possible that we are all here for no reason at all, meaning that it’s up to us to decide what to do next, to give ourselves meaning, to forge our own destinies and to aspire for something greater within ourselves. I believe that we are all heroes of our own stories. I believe that we all have the potential to do good, and by doing good we have the potential to become great. By becoming great, we have the ability to become a hero, a true hero, one of a bigger story than our own. I know that none of this explains who I am, but that’s because I’m still trying to figure that out, to forge a destiny and to become something more than myself. I want to be a hero. If I’m not a hero, I ask myself, who am I?
Who are you?
My name is Daman Cusick, I’m currently 19 years old, living with my aunt in Phoenix, Arizona. I’m a martial artist, practicing in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing. I love to travel and explore; I’m always on my feet, and when I rest, I dream of a world full of adventure. I’m now a college student again after having dropped out of university a year or so prior and I love to create. Whether it’s photography, drawing, writing, or film classes in school, I want to show others how I perceive things, how I feel. By creating, I hope to inspire. Maybe this blog will inspire you to create. I hope it does. I hope you decide to share your story, to share who you are. I want to give the world hope. What will you give the world?
